BLACK THEATRE IMAGE
The Theatre IMAGE is today a theatre troupe with its own structure and a regular heartbeat. Its core has been made up of a stable group of authors for several years. The troupe which maintains its own authorial style – their own image – has resulted from their cooperation and has made it in the theatre world. The authors´ work in a friendly atmosphere has given birth to a performance characterized by special features. The troupe has adapted to the changing conditions from an organizational point of view, it has spread, but it has also kept its own image thanks to which it has become an unmistakable part of the Prague theatres.
The theatre works with the principles of the black theatre with an interconnection of other theatre elements, such as nonverbal theatre and modern dance.
