was founded in 1902. We feel honored to continue old traditions of the Café which has been at the top of Prague coffee-houses and the cultural life center since the beginning.

We prided in repeated visits of prominent personalities of world renown like

Franz Kafka, Karel Capek, Albert Einstein and many others.

The Café with a wide selection of breakfast menus and newspapers is open from 8.00 am. The Restaurant serves traditional Czech cuisine as well as light meals.

Saloons are suitable for parties of 15 to 150 persons for various events – press conferences, meetings, banquets, wedding receptions, graduation parties etc. We respect the tradition of coffee-house sports and therefore you can borrow a chess set or play billiards in a billiards hall on one of the five tables.

The summer terrace is the right place to enjoy in summer.
