Prague spring is International Music Festival, which is every year in Prague and beginning on 12th May to 4th June. 12th May is important day, because is the anniversary of the death of Bedřich Smetana. Prague spring is show many international artists and symphonic orchestras.
In 1946 was first year of Prague spring and was under the aegis of Edvard Beneš, who was our president in this time. From 1952 the festival has opened with cycle of symphonic poems My country by Bedřich Smetana and it closes with Symphony No. 9 by Ludwig van Bethoven.
