Academy of Music - Lesser Town Square
The Lichtenstein Palace - palace resounding with music - is one of the nicest palaces in Prague. It was built in Baroque style at the beginning of the 16th century by Karel of Lichtenstein, whose descendants own the Principality of Lichtenstein in Central Europe. Later, in 1791, Prince Josef of Lichtenstein reconstructed the palace in the Classicist style. Nowadays the Lichtenstein Palace is the seat of of the Faculty of Music of the Academy of Performing Arts.
