St Giles Church

Greatest Classical Organ in the Town

One of the biggest classical organ in Prague with 3.500 reed-pipes, 3 manuals and 50 ranks (organ - pistons). Organ built up in baroque - romantic style i the year 1737.

Church St. Giles was founded in 1238, about one hundred years later enlargement to Gothic form. Year 1731 reconstruction to Baroque style with rich decoration and frescos. Church St. Giles is till today a part of Monastery Dominican order. For pleasant listening to a unique live concert of classical music interpreted by musicians from the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, music college professors and soloist from the National Theatre in Prague.
