A French restaurant in the right wing of the Municipal House is decorated with wonderful details in Art Nouveau style. It is highly valued among the professional public for the quality of the cuisine and unrepeatable atmosphere. It has become the subject of interest of Czech and foreign film-makers for its interior. One of films worth mentioning is a film by a Czech Oscar winning director Jiří Menzel “I Served the King of England“, based on a novel of the same title by Bohumil Hrabal. The French restaurant has been assessed according to the Grand restaurant as one of the 5 best restaurants in Prague and the CR.
