This eighteen-hole course, which opened in 2003, became the first Czech golf course to be certified by the German Golf Facilities Union. In the evaluation, which is performed according to strict criteria, it was ranked in the second best category and marked as ‘superior’. Of course, the success is at least partly due to the German-English golf course architect team of Heinz Fehring and Peter Wolker, who succeeded in perfectly incorporating the course within the woods of fully-grown pines, spruces, birches, ponds and lush areas, creating the impression that it is one of the oldest courses in the Czech Republic. While some holes require accurate play, you will need to hit very long shots on others. It is good to know that from the sporting point of view, the course is demanding and requires a high degree of physical fitness. You can replenish your energy in a cosy restaurant with a terrace, where you shouldn’t miss out on the opportunity to try real Czech buns and cakes.
