GOLF CLUB HOSTIVAŘ

Holes and pars: 9/70

This golf course, which opened in 2006, lies near the Hostivař Reservoir, one of Prague’s most popular sports and recreational complexes. What makes this nine-hole course unique is that it actually has eleven holes and the two ‘extra’ holes can be freely incorporated into your play. While the course is rather short and you don’t need any extremely long shots, there are both transverse and longitudinal water hazards awaiting you on every other hole and you should also expect classic Scottish bunkers here. Within the resort, there is a practice academy for golfers who do not have a handicap. The course also includes a Tri-Golf course where children aged from four to eight can learn about golf through games. This feature, which is rather unique in the Czech Republic, makes Hostivař the ideal golfing spot for families with small children.
