This mainly flat course, which opened in 2005, is situated in the middle of a racecourse in the western part of Karlovy Vary, only a few minutes from the spa’s colonnade. While the project with nine fairways and 18 greens is an absolute novelty in the Czech Republic, it is also quite unique even by international standards. There are only a handful of similar courses. The first round is played onto greens with green flags and the second round onto greens with white flags. When you play, you really need to be careful to go for the right flag. This course, with fully-grown trees and pools, which harbours no ambition of hosting championship tournaments, will never bore you.
