Stretching across meadows that were formed in the 18th century from the bottoms of dried-up ponds, there are three rather flat nine-hole courses. The eighteen-hole course, which was opened in 2003, will catch your attention due to several very interesting elements: numerous irrigation and drainage ditches, which now serve as water hazards, several ancient oaks and other rare trees that shape a number of dogleg fairways and greens that are sometimes only protected by grass bunkers. Don’t underestimate them. On the inside, they are cut like roughs, and for many players they can be even more difficult than sand bunkers. Towering above the entire resort, the Hluboká chateau, one of the most visited Czech chateaux, is an attraction you wouldn’t want to miss.
