PAINTBALL GAME

In this game full of adrenalin, tension and adventure, there is not important only physical condition, but also an ability to make quick and correct decisions. Paintball is a game in which not only luck and the ability of players matter, but also team cooperation plays a decisive role.
And most of all - Paintball is great fun.

Paintball is a modern, rapidly developing adrenaline sport which does not require only speed, strenght, and physical condition. When playing paintball, you will also need strategic thinking, and to keep a level head. You will experience joy and euphoria from winning and disappointment when you find out how little there sometimes suffices for the defeat. However, one thing is certain – you will never forget about experiences from paintball.

There are various forms of the game of paintball, but most of them have one thing in common. There always play two teams against one another. Objectives may be different. At one time, you have to retrieve a flag of the opposing team, at another time you defend your own, or you have to eliminate all of the other team's players. The number of players in the team is arbitrary, and it is only limited by the size of the playing area. There may play two couples against each other, but there also took place games in the past in which more than 500 players became involved on each side. There is set a time limit for the game (usually 10 minutes, it depends on the size of the playing area, and on the number of players), so you do not have to be afraid of waiting too long if hit right at the beginning.

Although paintball guns remotely remind of real guns and pistols, they work on a compressed air or carbon dioxide basis. They shoot gelatin capsules filled with paint. Their aimed gun-range is 30 to 45 metres, and most of them work on a semi-automatic basis (one pull of trigger = one shot). Paintball capsules have a thin shell from gelatine which contains colour fill that is non-toxic, non-caustic, water soluble, and biologically unharmful. You can easily wash it off with clean water or a soap, both off the body, and off clothing. When the player is hit by the ball, it breaks into pieces and marks him/her with clear paint. The player who is marked is eliminated from the game.

A great emphasis is put on safety during the game of paintball. All players and a referee must compulsorily wear a special paintball mask which protects face and eyes.
